Portrait of Christ, By Rembrandt
Regarding great artists, there is Rembrandt and then there is everyone else. I had never seen this painting before, and don’t know what to think of it. What do you think?
How to Bring Up Catholicism to Strangers
I have been trying recently to speak of Catholicism to everyone I meet. Though I haven’t been out much lately, preferring instead to stay home and study, I have met a few people and spoken with them about Catholicism. It is usually a short conversation with a store clerk. I say something like “Are you …
Marxists are Only Concerned About Money. Just Like America
Marxists are only concerned about money and the economy. The quality of life of the people, how they actually live, is of no interest to them. We see this in our current society. The chief determining factor in the quality of one’s life is how much money they have and how industrious they are. It …

What is The Chief Study of Life?
I started reading Of The Imitation of Christ. The book begins with this quote, describing what our chief study in life should be: “He that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness,” saith the Lord. These are the words of Christ, by which we are reminded that we must copy His life and conduct, if …
Wheat Belly – Book Review – Must Read
Got health problems? There’s a good chance it’s from wheat. It is impossible to summarize the depth of knowledge contained in Wheat Belly by William Davis. It is a seemingly silly title that hides the wealth of information within. You must read it. Wheat is everywhere and in everything. It is recommended by the health …
What Happened to the Trucker Convoy?
I guess the USA trucker convoy has disbanded. They made a small stir, driving from California, tooting horns and hollering. “We’re going to clog up the beltway!” “We want to negotiate!” and other such drivel. Then they got to DC and folded. I’ve tried to find out why they folded so quickly but there isn’t …
Mr. Friday Night: Movie Reviews – All Wars Are Bankers’ Wars
This was originally a radio show by Michael Rivero, and is probably best listened to, rather than watched. In it, Mr. Rivero describes how the dollar system is used by central bankers to maintain their power over everyone. This system will be maintained at all costs. The dollar system will assuredly fail at some point, …

In Our Time – Notes From Father Ripperger’s Talk
I watched the 3 part talk (part 1 here) In Our Time by Fr. Ripperger. It was so great I re-watched it and took these notes. I highly recommend watching the video series and then if you want to revisit his ideas you can go over the notes below. There is a literal college course …

How to Win Any Election in America
Velcro on your campaign shoes and let’s run. I used to joke with my coworkers that I was going to run for office. My campaign slogan would be uncomplicated and direct, “You need more money.” I would go into the working class parts of town and give them my stump speech which would consist of …
An Easy Business to Start
I realized last week that I needed a part for my gutter. I looked briefly online and couldn’t find it. So I started calling gutter installers within a 50 mile radius to see if they had the part in stock. Out of the 10 businesses I called, not one answered the phone. 2 days later, …
The Americano – No Truth, Just Flitting in the Wind
The Americano is a sight to behold. He gets upset at nothing. The banks foreclose upon his house and his family is out on the streets? No problemo, he jingle mails the keys to the bank and crawls into a cardboard box. He has gays parading in front of his children at the public school, …

An Interesting Perspective From a Wise Old Lady on Her Funeral, and Getting to Heaven
The Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy I heard a story recently about an old lady who told her priest that at her funeral Mass she didn’t want him to say she was a good person or was going straight to Heaven. Why? Her wishes go against conventional thinking. Most, at their funeral would want …

How to Turn Away From Money
Thoreau made the perfect pencil, then never made another Regarding society, I keep thinking back to Dylan’s song – Everything is Broken. What other way is there to describe society? Everything actually is broken. It is almost pointless to talk about how broken everything is. Why? Because there is no firm philosophical footing to stand …
Ukraine, Russia, Fatima: What Is Heaven Telling Us?
This is a fascinating talk by Father Chris Alar MIC on many topics. The first is the Red Army invading Poland after WWI. “Lenin wanted to take the communist revolution worldwide.” So he started with Poland. No one came to their aid. Poland was outnumbered 10 to 1 and looked set for easy defeat. “The …

The Goal of Life – Not Money, but Spiritual Enlargement and Enrichment
The Rabid desire for more fake fiat bucks, endless amounts of fake wealth…the great illusion I see so many toil endlessly for money. And though I can appreciate the desire for money and having money – for it can buy freedom from necessity, I cannot understand the endless grubbing for it. If someone has a …

The Beauty of The Divine Mercy Image
There is so much beauty in The Divine Mercy Image. From St. Faustina, who had it painted from her memory from when Jesus visited her, to the great words He said: “Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy.” From thedivinemercy.org, here:
Helping the Homeless Experience the Dignity of Life, in a Simple Way
I know a man who volunteers at a St. Vincent de Paul Society center that helps the homeless. They give them food, wash their clothes, provide showers, etc. I used to look down on places like this. But thinking recently, trying to put myself in the shoes of a homeless man, I thought it is …

Mortgage Rates Are Exploding Higher
There’s no way the rise in mortgage rates can maintain this trajectory. If it does, the housing market will collapse post haste. If housing goes, everything goes. Either way, massive changes are coming to America that will result in the decline of everyone’s living standards. Look for war with Russia to divert attention away from …
The Fools Run the Show in America
Their names are writ in water The last several presidents are but placeholders, whose names are writ in water, forever to be forgotten. Like Augustus Claudius the 3rd, they never did anything for the people. They never did anything worthwhile, merely carrying on the same imbecilities of the past. History will forget them.
